To supply contact lenses or spectacles - To supply contact lenses or spectacles, under UK Law, you must be over 16 years of age and not registered blind or partially sighted.
Verifying Your Contact Lens Specifications - To supply contact lenses, under UK Law, we need your current contact lens specifications
(please send by fax or a scanned copy by email).
If you are unable to do this, we will happily contact your optician to confirm your contact lens specifications. By providing your opticians contact details & placing the order, we have confirmed with the Information Commissioners Office that this constitutes your full express permission for us to act on your behalf to verify the prescription with your optician as required by the GOC.
This is to comply with the current Data Protection regulations.
If We are Unable to Verify Your Specifications - Unfortunately there are times when your contact lens specifications are out of date or a new check up is needed. If an order is cancelled due to us being unable to verify your contact lens specifications, a refund will be given less a 10% administration charge to cover part of the professional fee, as this service is required under UK law by the General Optical Council before we are allowed to ship any contact lenses. If you then place a new order at a later date once new specifications have been issued, this charge will be refunded.
Carriage - Deliveries are usually despatched within 3 working Days of your Prescription being verified. Free 1st Class Postage applies to deliveries within the United Kingdom. If you want your lenses urgently, we ship Royal Mail Special Delivery for £5.95. We also ship overseas to Europe, the USA, Canada & Worldwide Airmail up to the weight of 1KG (usually a 3 month pack of solution or 90 pairs of daily lenses) for £4.50 or Royal Mail International Signed For Delivery for £6.95. Any order over this weight will be liable to a shipping surcharge, please contact us for a quote before ordering.
Far East Shipping - Please note, we do not ship to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam or other Far Eastern Countries, unless the purchaser is a UK citizen with a registered UK Credit Card, residing overseas.
Goods Damaged in Transit or Short Deliveries - If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us within 3 days. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt, its best to sign the delivery note accordingly. Once the damaged goods are received back into our warehouse, we’ll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method. If your delivery is incomplete, again notify us within 3 working days & we will authorise a return & credit as neccessary
If you have changed your mind - If you have simply changed your mind about your order and you wish to cancel your order, or return your goods, then in line with the Distance Selling Directive (DSD) you can do so provided you inform us of this decision within 3 days from receipt. The goods must not be opened nor used and must be ‘as new’ when returned to us. Once you’ve informed us of your decision to return goods under DSD, you have 14 days to do so at your own expense. Once goods are received at Myiwear Ltd, we’ll issue a full refund for the cost of the goods to your original payment method less a 10% administration charge.
Non Delivery - Claims for non delivery must be made in to Myiwear Ltd within 5 days of date of despatch notice.
Return of Goods - All goods to be returned must be authorised before return. We recommend all returns should be sent by a recorded delivery service or registered post to insure your goods. Payment - All Payments must be made in advance. We accept all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and debit cards such as Switch and Delta.
Refunds - All refunds will be processed under UK law, we are bound by the Distance Selling Directive & all refunds due (less any administration charge) will be processed within 30 days of notice of cancellation or return of goods.
Export - We are a UK supplier and our products are aimed mainly at the UK market, We are however more than happy to ship worldwide for £6.95.
